NWCH Spring Resiliency Group Info & Sign Up
December 2025
Hello, Hayden School District Families and Partners!
Hayden School District will continue our partnership with Northwest Colorado Health and
resume Resiliency Groups for the Spring Semester. This opportunity is open to all students
throughout the year with parent/guardian consent. Groups are held once a week during the
school day for 8 weeks and are aimed at being held at a time that is least impactful to academic
instruction. The first round of Spring term groups will start mid-January.

HS Girls Basketball Game on Friday in Lake County - Rescheduled

Due to varying reasons, the HS Girls Basketball game originally scheduled for Friday, December 19th at Lake County has been rescheduled to Thursday, February 5th at 5:00pm in Lake County.

Announcement: School Board Nominations & Appreciation

We are pleased to announce the results of the School Board nominations held at last night’s meeting. Please join us in congratulating our newly elected board officers:

We are also excited to welcome Mrs. Lucas and Mr. Da Silva to our leadership team. We look forward to their fresh perspectives and energy they will bring as we continue working together to support our students and school community.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Wattles and Mrs. Doolin who concluded their four-year terms last night. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment have made a lasting impact, and we truly appreciate their service to our school.

HHS TOP 20 For Fall MAPS testing. At our Awards Assembly on October 30th. Hayden High School recognized those students who scored in the Top 20% nationally on the NWEA MAPS test in Achievement and/or Growth. This was for our 9-11th-grade students.
-Reading had 12 Students in the Top 20
- Math had 14 students in the Top 20
-ELA had 18 students in the Top 20
-Science had 26 Students in the top 20

Like many throughout the region HSD was without power from 9:40-10:30. Students remained in there classes and lunch will be served as normal. Thank you for your patience as we work to get our phone system back up and working.

📣 Volleyball Schedule Update 🏐
We wanted to let you know that due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict on Caprock’s end, the volleyball game originally set for Saturday, October 4th will need to be rescheduled.
👉 The game has been moved to Wednesday, October 15th at 4:30 PM.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility with this change. .
